Single members — especially single women ('unicorns') — get a flood of low-effort attention. Standing out means treating them like people. Drop the entitlement. A unicorn isn't obligated to want a couple, follow your rules, or move at your pace. 'Couple privilege' is real — notice it and set it down. Let them have their own connection with each of you. Being treated as an accessory to the couple is the number-one complaint. They get an equal say in everything. Be honest about your dynamic. If one partner is really the one looking, say so up front.
